I have recently become fascinated with 50's style advertising and architecture. The style of architecture back then was known as Googie design. This motel sign is reminiscent of the Googie style as it has crazy text with plenty of stars as well as odd shaped signs. Arrows were frequently used to direct the viewers attention quicker.
